Finished another tarot card last week. The Fool is based on a chaote named Benjamin and his tinfoil-hat photograph.
The red string on the bulletin board forms a chaos star behind him. The conspiracy elements in the background correspond to the elements of a classical Rider-Waite-Smith Fool: Precipice (flat earth), stick (police baton), bag (Boston bombers), 0 (illuminati eye), the sun (The Sun), flower (marijuana), pup (my pup, R.I.P.)
There were a lot of people who wanted to be The Fool, sorry, much like Highlander: “There can be only one!”

Here’s a ritual I came up with on the beach for charging sigils. It makes use of a technique called Augmented Unreality, and also has some elements in common with The Gate Trick found here. It’s a mental exercise and symbolic visualization process that combines calm meditation with a series of visceral experiences. How to place a protective ward on your phone:
This is a technique I practice sometimes when charging sigils to help me hold the shape of the sigil in my mind. This helps keep the shape firmly in your mind in case you have trouble with that. Also this is particularly useful in situations where it is not appropriate to close your eyes and meditate, for example driving, donating plasma, staring blankly ahead pretending to pay attention in class, etc. [Read more…]
