*The King of the Court Cards represent the highest level of maturity and capability ,and do not need to follow the traditional gender role
This is a King who will never go unnoticed, nor do they wish to. Their charisma and charm are an energetic theatrical performance for any and all, this is not a shy or quiet wallflower, and people will be drawn to their creative and visionary forward thinking. Obstacles become adrenaline rushes through their unshakable optimism, but now that they’re older they’re more deliberate about how they go about the moves they make.
These people express pure enthusiasm and it’s contagious, this makes them exciting and inspiring to be around but their independent natures keep people at arms length when they feel it will be necessary in the long run. And the long run is something they constantly consider, as having goals to achieve is imperative to the wellbeing of their very natures, as much as the freedom to chase them is.
The King of Wands in a crossed condition, either by a reversal or because of it’s proximity to a detrimental card creates someone whose arrogance is insufferable to witness. When they become ill tempered, which happens quite easily, their aggression can actually be terrifying , especially if they feel betrayed. While their own sense of loyalty is temporary at best or nonexistent, yours better be regularly expressed to ease their paranoid tendencies as they can get very dark when they feel like they have to test a person’s loyalty.
The King of Wands align with the element of Fire and the signs and placements of Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius.

A note on the Court Cards
Court Cards do not need to align with their traditional gender rolls, and to read otherwise is extremely limiting in my opinion but this is largely intuitive so do what works for you. It’s better summed up with levels of maturity and capability being high to low in my opinion.
Court Cards are commonly interpreted as either being examples of one’s higher self and the current need to adopt those qualities, or other people in the life of the querent who possess the cards qualities. Think outside the box though as they could take on any number of pre assigned or spontaneous meanings such as deity, Saints/Lwa, specific co-workers, specific family members, archtypes, pets, ideas and concepts, specific situations etc.
