Trumps of Chaos

I’m currently working on a tarot deck based on chaos magick. The art on the cards will be based on actual real-world chaos magicians.

“Trumps” refers to “Trump Cards”; magical items from the Zelazny novels: The Chronicles of Amber.

FAQ

Q: Why is this taking so long?
A: Because I have a day job and two kids and not really a ton of spare time. I just work on them here and there as a hobby and one day it will be a whole deck.

Q: What card am I going to be on?
A: I go by your preference when possible, but list a few (including some minor arcana please) because you might not get your first pick.

Q: I don’t want everyone to know I do magick tho!
A: I only post updates to my fb page and this website. I will not be on your timeline causing your family and friends to wonder “wtf?”!

Q: OMG is that what you think of me?!?!?
A: No. They are tarot cards first, art second, and you are basically just the model. I like to work in personal aspects like hobbies of yours when possible, but some of my artistic direction will have nothing to do with you. We need The Devil, and Death for example, but I obviously don’t think any of you are Death or The Devil.

Q: What’s your email address?
A: Please send it via Facebook Messenger to https://www.facebook.com/ChaosTarotDotcom so that I can know 100% that I’m receiving a form from the owner of the account.

Q: Can I get a free deck?
A: Sorry I can’t afford to produce and ship 78+ decks for free, that’s into the thousands of dollars. I can send you full size electronic art and send you the physical card you are on though.

Q: I can’t fill out your form!
A: Adobe makes a PDF reader app for desktop and mobile that opens PDFs. If you are having trouble saving your data feel free to just fill it out ad screen cap it. I have included a pdf, and now a doc and png by popular demand too.

Q: Can I be assured that I get the card I want, or that you use the photo I want?
A: Probably not, unless you have some kind of leverage over me like we are good friends or you are an extremely important member of the community. It’s extremely difficult to make promises like that with so many people wanting the same card, or because of which of your profile pics I would prefer to draw.

At this point in time I have more than enough submission so be forewarned the chances are slim unless there’s a really good reason. It doesn’t hurt to send it anyway though! 😉
